We need to be led by the Holy Spirit and walk straight. We need to make a choice to follow Jesus or the world, we can't do both. I know the visions are hard but they convicted me and have changed the way I live. We can do all things through Christ who lives in us. God has given me a vision to go out and preach a message to the churches on how we need to prepare the christian body for his return. I am a believer in Christ and honestly believe these things could occur in both heaven and hell because God is so beyond anything I could even imagine or hope for. Even thoughts of war and genocide are very hard for many human minds to comprehend simply b/c they are not exposed to it, but that is for another post. So.. I don't doubt they don't happen -- the scenes these people spoke of. What I was a bit bothered by is the fact that it seemed as though you had to be on your best behaviour all the time or God was going to send you to hell -- if you backslid, if you didn't pay your tithes, if you fornicated, if you didn't... and I understand that sin is sin is sin to God, but believers in Christ are guilty of many of these things. What happens at the time of your death that you happen to be engaged in one of these activities? Does that mean hell for you? What if King David died at the time he was committing adultery? He wouldn't have had time to repent. Would that have left him in the pit of hell? And perhaps, I just need to re-read this entire post again. I read both, and I’m not sure what I think. The Lord has used this to stir up within me important longings and thirsts afresh. As I read this, not in one sitting, but in several, with fervent prayer and much struggling during and in between each reading, I could see the images so clearly within my mind and spirit. I am truly impacted. Yet, I confess that I am concerned about this, for it stirs me up for so much more than where I am or what I know. My concern is not in anyway negative although it was at first. No! It is a concern of the frailty of this life and the urgency of our needing to follow through unto the end, in His faith, hope, and love, in and through our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus! Thank you and who ever else has made this post available to us. I have made my own copy and have already shared it with others.
